Aqua Kong

This is part of a series I'm doing called Justice League of Nintendo.

Donkey Kong was born in the undersea kingdom of Konglantis. His mother and father where the King and Queen of the aquatic dwellers know as SeaMonkeys. Donkey was next inline for the throne, but when a war fell upon the kingdom, Donkey's mother took him to the surface to hide. Donkey's father was unfortunately killed in a raid upon the castle, so his mother raised him on the surface as a surface dweller and kept his past a secret. He lived his life not knowing of his true identity, but one day some of the SeaMonkeys that helped overthrow the thrown came looking for them. Donkey's mother sacrificed herself to protect Donkey and she was taken back to Konglantis leaving Donkey an orphan. When he was adult they came looking for him again, but this time he fought them back and in the process discovering the true nature of his powers. Along with the training of his secret guardian, Cranky Kong, who was sent to protect him, he became Aqua Kong and eventually took back the throne of Konglantis. However, it wasn't too long after that he was summoned by the mysterious Yoshi Manhunter to help stop a world crisis took big for one hero alone and so he joined the Justice League of Nintendo.
